A collection of short stories written by Philip Bernad Calabro are inspired by Ozamiz City, Philippines, and the surrounding areas. Ranging from everyday life to legend, mythical to science fiction, autobiographical to folklore, the collection is bound only by the islands of Mindanao and Negros where the stories grew.
The design captures the spirit of these diverse narratives, blending typographic forms with evocative imagery to reflect the rich cultural and natural landscapes of the Philippines. A Sigbin, a creature from Philippine mythology, is depicted ascending the letterforms, symbolizing the merging of folklore and modern storytelling.
