Strange Terrain explores human perception by examining the elements of form and space. Created through computer-generated imagery, the work emerges from processes of artificiality, simulation, interaction, and the formation of topographies. These constructions emphasize the interplay between surface and depth, where dimensionality is defined by color. Interaction between two-dimensional and three-dimensional works, Strange Terrain investigates how synthetic sensory experiences, often encountered on digital screens, can be understood and reconstructed.
Harnessing the inherent characteristics of computer logic, this work challenges the properties of materiality, provoking a physical phenomenon of dimensional perception. It blurs the boundaries between the artificial and the real, inviting viewers to reconsider the distinctions between them.
